Job Description

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Wastewater Lab Technicians for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 5 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn:

• $45 before overtime
• $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
• Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
• Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)

Duties, Skills & Qualifications:

• Maintain clarifier systems
• Experience with treatment metering pumps and valves
• Ability to monitor and maintain waste treatment pits, sumps and settling basins.
• Responsible for storage and disposal of waste materials
• Responsible for inventory of chemicals for waste treatment systems
• Minimum 1 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physically able to bend, lift, stand and reach
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
