Job Description

Job Title: School Psychologist Job Location: Streetsboro, OH Job Type: Contract Job Description: ~ Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students with suspected or identified disabilities. ~ Participate in the development, review, and discussion of evaluation team reports. ~ Provide counselling and resources to students, parents, and staff, including referrals to outside agencies. ~ Consult with administrators and teachers on instructional strategies, interventions, and accountability procedures. ~ Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and confidential documentation. ~ Assist staff in adapting instruction and supports to meet diverse student needs. ~ Report suspected cases of child abuse or neglect in compliance with state law. ~ Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding student progress and concerns. ~ Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to district policies and procedures. Experience: ~ Master's degree in School Psychology. ~ Valid Ohio educational certificate/license to practice as a School Psychologist. ~ Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings. ~ Strong knowledge of assessment tools, counseling strategies, and intervention planning. ~ Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, educators, families, and outside agencies.
