Job Title : Registered Nurse- Pediatric

This particular position is open with our client in Seattle WA.

Department:  Clinical

Job Type:  Full-Time

Schedule:  12 hour 3 shifts a week

Work Location:  In-Person

Pay : $45 to $65 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Role Overview:

Licensed healthcare professionals known as registered nurses (RNs) deliver direct patient care, inform patients and the public about a range of medical conditions, and provide patients and their families with emotional support and guidance. They are essential in working with doctors and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

In accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards for Pediatric Nursing Practice, the Registered Nurse (RN) functions as a vital member of the Health Care Team within the State-defined scope of practice. The registered nurse closely follows the healthcare facility's policies, procedures, and care guidelines while providing safe, family-centered patient care. The registered nurse collaborates with the patient, the patient's family, and other healthcare team members to assess, plan, carry out, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Care Process. In compliance with the State Administrative Code, the position entails overseeing and assigning work to Certified Nursing Assistants and others.The registered nurse actively participates in accomplishing the mission and objectives of the organization by incorporating and exemplifying programs like Healthy Work Environment and Values Based Behavior into their daily work.

Salary Information:  This compensation range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours per calendar year) and is influenced by factors such as equity, skills, experience, and expertise.

The Profile

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN/BSN or higher)
  • Previous experience in a pediatric-related healthcare setting
  • Current Washington State RN License, or other current state license as required for employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is mandatory for all positions at the time of hire. Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are acceptable substitutes for BLS. ACLS is not accepted as a substitute.
  • A copy of the highest level of academic achievement must be on record with Human Resources upon hire, or for personnel trained outside of the U.S., a documented equivalency evaluation by a foreign credentialing agency.
  • Food Handler’s Certification
  • Pediatric healthcare nursing experience (Preferred)

Working Conditions :

  • This position may require frequent movement including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting, climbing, stooping, bending, carrying, and handling packages/supplies up to 50lbs
  • Some travel will be required.
