Quality Engineer
Work for a growing company in the Atlanta area.
Responsibilities:
· Define inspection criteria, develop inspection procedures, and set quality assurance testing models for analysis of incoming raw materials.
· Assist with the Defective Material Reporting (DMR’s), Returned Material (RMA’s), Supplier Quality Assurance Reporting (SCAR’s) and Supplier Rating systems.
· Conduct investigation and perform corrective and preventive action on noted anomalies.
· Assist in the development and/or updating of Quality Assurance procedures.
· Assist in performing Internal and External Quality Audits.
· Assist in reviewing quality requirements on new designs and/or products.
· Conduct failure analysis in laboratory when required.
· Expected to perform a variety of complicated tasks relying on experience and judgment to plan and

·3-5 years experience in a Quality Assurance Engineering role in electronics related industry
· Assist with supplier quality issues.
· Strong problem solving skills such as process mapping and root cause analysis.
· Background in electronics manufacturing with specific practical hands on experience with: SMT, PTH, wave soldering, components prep, auto insertion, cleaning, conformal coating,
