Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (SNF) – Town and Country, MO

We’re seeking a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel contract in a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Town and Country, Missouri. Position Details:

• Location: Town and Country, MO
• Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Duration: 13 Weeks (potential to extend)
• Start Date: 10/27 or 11/03 preferred
• Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Day shifts
• Pay: $1,600 per week (most paid as a non-taxable stipend)

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans
• Document daily treatment notes and progress reports accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a positive and motivating environment to support patient rehabilitation goals

Requirements:

• Active Missouri PTA license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Minimum 1 year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Strong clinical reasoning, professionalism, and adaptability
• Open to first-time travelers!
