Life Pharmacy in Katy, Texas is looking for a Lead pharmacy technician to join our strong team. We are located at 23541 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, TX. Suite 130. 77494. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Customer Service in a Retail Pharmacy

• Accepting Prescriptions. When the pharmacy technician receives a prescription, they must first make sure that it is valid. This task is not as simple as it sounds.
• Processing Insurance Claims. Once a valid prescription has been accepted, the next step is to present it to the patient’s insurance company for payment.
• Processing Prescriptions. The most important duty of the pharmacy technician is filling prescriptions. ...
• Other Pharmacy Technician Duties. The pharmacy technician has many duties other than filling prescriptions. They also perform monthly inventory counts, file paperwork, and stock inventory

Compound, Label, and Package compounded prescription products

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Retail and Compounding experience preferred
