Job Description

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC), providing comprehensive care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with various cardiac conditions. The RN will deliver skilled nursing care, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in pediatric cardiac care.

Responsibilities:

- Providing direct patient care to pediatric cardiac patients.
- Assessing patient conditions and administering medications.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and documenting observations.
- Educating patients and families about cardiac care.
- Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, and support staff.
- Participating in unit charge responsibilities.
- Managing and responding to patient emergencies.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric cardiac care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
