Patient Registrar
Location: Flushing, NY (Primary site: Fresh Meadows, with travel to multiple Queens locations as needed)
Pay Rate: $24–25/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Length: Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Patient Registrar to support a busy medical group in Queens. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, along with prior experience handling patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
Responsibilities:
Perform patient registration and scheduling for procedures
Conduct insurance verification, prior authorization for imaging and medications
Utilize EMR/EPIC systems for accurate data entry and records management
Maintain compliance with healthcare and insurance guidelines
Travel to multiple practice locations within Queens as required

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
4+ years of experience in patient registration or healthcare administration (Required)
Experience scheduling procedures (Required)
Experience with EPIC/EMR systems (Preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
