Curtis Eye Care Optometrist in Byron Center, MI is looking for one optical tech / medical scribe to join our 17-person strong team. We are located at 2155 84th Street SW. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITY:

Scribe/Tech: Responsibilities included pre-testing patients for the doctor, and entering dictated information by the doctor and other healthcare providers while in the exam room with patients. Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and excellent people skills are a must. Experience with optical or desire to learn.

REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE

• Proven skills in English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and editing.
• Ability to learn new computer software quickly and accurately.
• Ability to enter data into word processing, and EHR medical software accurately at an above-average pace
• Excellent collaboration, listening, communication, patient interaction, and teamwork skills
• Experience as a scribe for an Eye Care Practice desired or willing to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
