**Summary:**
Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

Active CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within seven days of hire if enrolled in the PCT internship and prior to patient contact or required on hire. Minimum requirements include one of the following: 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare EAYL PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only; or completed an approved PCT or Nursing Assistant program. Note: If completed a non-approved PCT Program, completion of the BayCare PCT Bootcamp is required.
Preferred - 1 year - Hospital in related field.

* Required - High School or Equivalent; Required - Technical - Patient Care Technician; Or - Technical - Certified Nursing Assistant; Or - Technical - Emergency Medical Technician; Or - Technical - Licensed Practical Nurse; Or - Technical - Reference summary for details
**Credential equivalent experience:**
**Essential:**
* Required - BLS (Basic Life Support) - Relevant Specialty; Required - Patient Care Technician - If applicable; Or - Reference summary for details; Preferred - EMT (Emergency)
