Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** + Provides direct patient care and support within a behavioral health setting, working under the supervision of a nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, reporting changes in patient behavior, participating in treatment planning, and ensuring patient safety. They also play a crucial role in creating a therapeutic environment and fostering positive patient interactions. Key Responsibilities: + Direct Patient Care + Observation and Monitoring + Safety and Security + Therapeutic Interactions + Documentation + Treatment Team Participation Qualifications: + High school diploma/GED preferred + Behavioral/Mental Health Certification preferred + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) required within 30 days of start date + Prior experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting is preferred + Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills are essential Other-Fingerprint Required HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility.
