Are you seeking a rewarding career in human services? Envisions is hiring Life Skills Instructors to work with the individuals we serve. We offer both full-time and part-time positions to accommodate your schedule.

  • Full-Time Positions:  Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift) and/or 3:30 PM – Late Evening (Evening Shift) Enjoy a seamless "straight 8" shift — no need to clock out for lunch or supper. During the day, you'll share lunch with individuals in our Day Services, offering support during mealtime. In residential settings, you'll help individuals prepare and enjoy their meals.  Staff are provided time to eat during their shift, effectively adding an extra hour of paid time to your day!
  • Part-Time Positions: Flexible hours available, ideal for college students or those seeking additional income.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in various community activities and volunteering opportunities with the individuals we serve.
  • Therapeutic Activities: Experience unique settings through our horse therapy programs.
  • Residential Opportunities: Work in our mini group homes with evening and weekend shifts, perfect for flexible scheduling needs.

At Envisions, we focus on developing skill programs, life skills, social skills, and community inclusion for our individuals at day service. As a Life Skills Instructor, you'll provide supervision and assistance within the guidelines of Nebraska Health and Human Services, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for those in our care.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent. Must have Nebraska Certifications to administer medications/aide, abuse and neglect, First Aide, CPR (provided to you through the hiring process of this position at Envisions).

Must be able to perform all aspects of the position including basic household management and budgeting of money efficiently.

Prefer to have a valid driver’s license in the State of Nebraska, and a good driving record.
