Muse Gelato in Orlando, FL is looking for Production Factory Workers for multiple positions. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, engaged, and has a love for the sweeter things in life.

SECOND SHIFT - 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM Monday - Friday

** Attendance is strickly enforced

** You must have dependable transportation

For this job you will be making ice cream. You will be filling tubs, lidding, and sealing them. You will push them on a cart into a freezer. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitation of both production areas, office areas, and warehouse areas.

Responsibilities

This position is employed either part-time or full-time by Muse Gelato. The Production Staff's duties are to produce safe and quality food products while following the HACCP and QACCP based procedures.

The duty of each individual production staff member is based on management’s approval and training. Duties a Production Staff member performs are as follows but not limited to:

· Safe and quality food production following all of Muse Gelato’s policy and procedures

· Setting up the production kitchen including equipment and sanitation chemicals.

· Cleaning and sanitizing all food contact surfaces and indirect food contact surfaces

· Mopping floors, cleaning walls, cleaning ceiling vents, maintain clean drains

· Blending ingredients or adding flavoring to base

· Straining and freezing product

· Taste testing ice cream and gelato during the production process

• This is an environment that makes products containing Milk, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy, Eggs, and Wheat.

· Monitoring time and temperature according to policy

· Extracting and packing frozen desserts.

· Lift up to 60 pounds

· Complete production records or forms capturing all required data

Qualifications

• Worked in a food factory (Preferred)
• Has Food Safe handlers card (Preferred)
• Understands food safety
• Can stand on feet for 5 to 7 hours
• Able to enter and spend time in freezer
