Private Family Seeking Experienced Nanny for Infant Care

Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: Full-time, including overnight care as needed
Travel: Required every 1-2 months (valid passport necessary)
Compensation: $90,000 - 100,000 per year depending on experience (1099 contract, includes 7 days of paid vacation and 7 days of PTO per year), with possibility of negotiation to add Healh insurance.

Job Overview:
A private family is seeking a highly experienced and professional nanny specializing in newborn and infant care. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional childcare experience with expertise in sleep training, feeding routines, and developmental milestone tracking. The role requires flexibility for overnight care, structured scheduling, and frequent travel. Discretion and a commitment to privacy are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Infant Care – Provide attentive and secure care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and bathing, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Overnight Support – Assist with night wakings and implement healthy sleep routines.

  • Developmental Activities – Engage the baby in age-appropriate learning experiences and track key developmental milestones.

  • Household Contributions – Organize the baby’s items, prepare bottle/ nutritious meals, and uphold hygiene standards.

  • Travel Assistance – Accompany the family on domestic and international trips to ensure seamless care and comfort. Previous travel experience is a MUST.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional childcare experience, with a focus on newborn and infant care.

  • Strong expertise in sleep training, feeding routines, and early childhood development.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overnights, as needed.

  • Availability to travel every 1-2 months for extended periods (valid passport required).

  • Strong professional references from long-term placements in private households.

  • Excellent communication skills to provide regular updates on the child’s well-being and development.

  • Commitment to maintaining family privacy and confidentiality at all times.

  • Must be fluent in English; bilingual english and spanish is a plus, preferably with Hispanic or Latin American Background.

  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
