CAD Designer/Drafter

Responsibilities:

Assist Design Engineers with Audio-Visual and facility drawings from concept to implementation.
Create technical documentation including architectural plans, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, cable legends, and bid documentation.
Prepare wire labels and project overviews according to company design and engineering standards.
Support Install Staff during installation periods.
Generate accurate project as-builts.
Ensure design and engineering hours stay within budgeted estimates.

Qualifications:

Degree (or in-progress) in a technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD or VidCAD; familiarity with Revit or BIM modeling.
Skilled in Microsoft Office; knowledge of additional AV software a plus.
Familiarity with Pro Audio, Video, Projection, Display, and Control Systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to support cross-functional project teams.
