Description We are looking for a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineer to play a key role in safeguarding our organization's critical systems and data. This position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing security solutions across diverse environments, including onshore facilities, cloud platforms, and remote systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience to ensure robust protection against evolving cyber threats. Responsibilities: - Develop and deploy advanced security solutions to protect systems and data across onshore and remote environments. - Lead incident response efforts, managing the full lifecycle of detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. - Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks. - Configure and optimize cybersecurity tools, including Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Azure Conditional Access. - Implement and maintain enterprise-level endpoint and cloud security measures to safeguard Windows and Azure environments. - Oversee patch management, system hardening, and continuous monitoring to address security vulnerabilities. - Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs to enhance knowledge and adherence to best practices organization-wide. - Collaborate with IT teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to align security strategies with operational objectives. - Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks. - Investigate and document security incidents, leading post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement. Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field. - Over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or cloud operations, with at least 5 years in a cybersecurity role. - Proven expertise in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. - Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Azure, Windows Server, and Intune. - Familiarity with regulatory standards and security frameworks such as ISO and NIST. - Hands-on experience with firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Cisco ASA. - Proficiency in cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS and Microsoft Azure. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
