DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Global Subsidiaries Legal team and to lead our work in the Americas. The candidate must have a strong corporate law, corporate governance, and compliance background and be able to supervise legal professionals responsible for forming and maintaining Amazon's subsidiaries in the Americas. The candidate must be able to research and advise on corporate law issues in multiple jurisdictions, execute on complex corporate restructuring projects, and work effectively with outside counsel in foreign jurisdictions. The candidate must have experience with the use and building of AI tools for application in their day-to-day work. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 5+ years of Corporate Law experience
