We're looking for a hands-on Superintendent who will take ownership of all field activities from mobilization through close-out. In this role, you'll serve as the eyes and ears of the project, ensuring timely execution, quality control, team coordination, and - most importantly - job site safety.

As we continue to grow our pipeline of projects throughout Central and Southern New Jersey, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to join our team and lead field operations from the ground up.

Description

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead all on-site construction activities , including managing subcontractors, vendors, and field labor

  • Develop and maintain short-interval schedules; coordinate closely with Project Manager on long-range planning

  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce strict compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety policies

  • Ensure project milestones, inspections, and deliveries are completed on schedule

  • Monitor quality control and adherence to drawings/specifications

  • Act as the main point of contact on-site for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors

  • Maintain detailed site documentation including daily reports, field logs, RFI tracking, and photos

  • Anticipate field issues and resolve conflicts proactively with minimal disruption

  • Coordinate site logistics, equipment, and materials handling

  • Facilitate site meetings with trades and stakeholders

  • Ensure punch lists and close-out documentation are completed accurately and on time

Profile

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial, healthcare, or industrial construction

  • Proven experience overseeing projects ranging from $1M-$20M+ in size

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, trade coordination, safety practices, and job costing

  • Familiarity with New Jersey construction codes and permitting

  • Experience with occupied facility construction (especially in healthcare) is a big plus

  • Proficiency in construction management platforms such as Procore , Microsoft Project , Bluebeam , or similar

  • OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification required

  • Ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and hold teams accountable

  • Must be highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
