Job Description

As a Clothing and Footwear Retail Associate at Mountain Hardware and Sports (soft goods), you'll stay active helping customers in our soft goods department. This includes our apparel, footwear, and accessory product selections. This role involves working closely ensuring your department is well-stocked, organized, and features attractive displays. If you have experience or an interest in clothing apparel, footwear, and/or prior retail customer service experience, this position could be a great fit.

Work location: on-site (Soaring Ranch location)

Schedule: full-time (8hr shift - 40hrs/week)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with clothing and footwear products and recommendations

• Provide product knowledge, promote, and sell clothing and footwear items, recommending complementary products

• Set up, maintain, and organize attractive product displays that align with promotions and seasonal trends

• Process transactions accurately, handle special order requests, and assist with receiving and stocking merchandise

• Assist in loading/unloading merchandise and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe department

• Stay updated on industry trends in clothing, apparel, and accessory items

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States

• Must be at least 18 years or older

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

• Must have ability to lift up to 56lbs

• Must have ability to use a ladder

• Ability to use provided computer, programs, and technology-based equipment when needed

• Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, confined environment while maintaining focus and efficiency

• Ability to multi-task

Experience

• Customer service: 1+ year (preferred)

• Clothing and footwear (soft goods) related experience: 1+ year (preferred)
