Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care, exceptional climbing skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves performing tree pruning, removal, and maintenance services for residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques and equipment
• Conduct tree health assessments and recommend appropriate treatments
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and other arborist tools
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Assist with storm damage response and emergency tree services

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional climbing arborist experience
• Proficiency in safe tree climbing and rigging techniques
• Knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper pruning practices
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
• ISA Certified Arborist credential is a plus
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
