Job Description

DICO INCORPORATED a 50 year-old Concrete Foundation Company located in Cheverly, MD., is currently seeking for an Accounts Receivable Professional with at least 7 years of accounting experience, who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, have the capacity to work with a high level of accuracy and can communicate clearly and concisely to management. The successful applicant will be responsible for processing invoices, by analyzing job folders and blueprints from the field, to ensure that the company bills the correct amount for the goods and services provided.

• The successful applicant will be responsible for processing invoices, by analyzing job folders and blueprints from the field, to ensure that the company bills the correct amount for the goods and services provided. 
• Frequently, the Accounts Receivable Manager consults with the company’s field foreman, supervisors, vendors, in-house engineering staff and occasionally with clients during the process of formulating accurate invoices. 
• Candidate will post payments against invoices. 
• Any discrepancies between invoices and payment will need to be resolved.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Peachtree/Sage or similar accounting programs, Excel and Microsoft Word is a must. 
• Long-term commitment is necessary. 
• Construction experience and bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Ideal candidate should have the ability to work with little to no supervision.

On occasions, the Accounts Receivable Manager will interact with the clients, thus customer service skills are a must. Visits to construction jobsites could be a part of the learning curve.
